This is why so many professional athletes utilize a treadmill or elliptical machine as part of their workout routine. Not only does it help them lose weight, they gain lean muscle mass.
Cycling is also another great way to get more vascular. Unlike running, cycling will not tire you out as it will for a much shorter period of time. You can do either stationary or low intensity cycling for cardiovascular fitness. Not only will it help to improve your stamina and keep you in good physical condition, it will also strengthen your heart and lung muscles. Even if you don’t have a lot of time during the winter months to cycle in the snow, there are other ways to build your biking endurance.
Swimming is one of the best all around cardiovascular exercises you can do to develop your how to get more vascular.
